Assessment and Grading System For Classes Pre-Nursery To V
There is no formal examination for the students but child is assessed on the basis of overall class performance which includes worksheets conducted from time to time. At the end of the session child is awarded best student award, on the basis of academics, extra curricular activities, attendance and his/her achievements.
Examination:
For Classes VI-X
Following the guidelines of CBSE, the students are assessed through CCE (comprehensive and continuous evaluation).
It has two semesters in a year.
In each semester the child is assessed in both co-scholastic and scholastic areas under two formative assessments (F.As) and one summative assessment (S.A).
Weightage
40% of the formative assessment and 60% of the summative assessment will be considered in the final assessment and grades will be awarded accordingly.
ClassXI
Each session consists of two cycle tests, half yearly and annual exams
Weightage
25% of both cycle tests + 25% of half yearly exams and 50% of annual exams will be considered in final assessment.
Students have to appear for the internal examination (Ist cycle test, half yearly examination and two pre- board examinations). They have to finally sit for external examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, in the month of March.
